The Harley Davidson XG750R represents the latest iteration in the evolution of flat-track racing motorcycles, embodying the spirit and legacy of one of America’s most iconic motorcycle brands. This specialized race machine has been meticulously refined for competition on the toughest American dirt ovals. At its heart lies a potent 750cc Revolution X V-Twin engine derived from the street-based XG750, specifically refined for high performance and reliability under the rigorous demands of flat-track racing.
Its lightweight frame, advanced suspension system, and precise handling characteristics testify to Harley Davidson’s commitment to motorcycling. The XG750R not only carries forward the brand’s storied history in competitive motorsport but also serves as a symbol of its passion for two-wheeled speed. Born from Harley-Davidson’s rich legacy of performance and innovation, the XG750R roared onto the scene with the assistance of Vance and Hines. Vance and Hines refined, redesigned, and built the street-based production XG750 motorcycle into a serious racer that has successfully competed against competition-only designs from other manufacturers. This motorcycle has played a pivotal role in shaping modern flat-track racing.
A standout feature lies in its meticulously engineered liquid-cooled Revolution X™ V-Twin engine, tailored to deliver robust power and torque across a broad rpm range. The XG750R showcases a lightweight, nimble chassis with easy handling and agility necessary for winning in AFT competition. And win it did, including the Production Twins championship with James Rispoli (#43) riding the bike for Latus Motors. Today, the XG750R competes in the Super Twins class with Max Whale (#18) aboard the George Latus entry.
